Lemon Sauce

Yield: 1 cup
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1 cup warm water
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon butter
Combine dry ingredients and rind in saucepan. Gradually add warm water. stirring constantly. cook slowly for 5 min. The sauce shold be clear and slightly thickened. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and butter.
