Set bread machine for sweet loaf, 2 lbs. and light crust.

| Yield: Makes 2 lb. loaf |

| Note: A new family favorite, Banana bread could be baked in regular oven as well - probably 2 smaller loaves would work well - that way you could eat one and freeze or give away one |
| INGREDIENTS: |

1/3 cup water
1 cup (about 3) mashed banana
3 Tbsp. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
¼ cup brown sugar
2 cups all purpose white flour

2 cups whole wheat or graham flour
1 ¼ tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
1 ½ tsp. instant yeast
1/3 cup each raisins or dried cranberries and chopped pecans or walnuts |

| Add water to mashed banana in measuring cup to total 1 1/3 cups liquid. Beat eggs slightly before adding to pan. Add fruit and nuts at “add extras” signal on your bread machine so they still hold their shape a little.
