Chili Beef Soup

Note: Great, easy and hearty
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped

1 small clove of garlic, crushed
3 cups water
1 1/4 cups tomato juice
14 oz can tomatoes, chopped
10 oz can corn
10 oz can kidney beans
1 bay leaf

1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
Pinch each pepper and crushed chili peppers
Brown meat in oil. Add onion, green pepper, and garlic. Saute until limp. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer about 30 minutes to an hour, covered.
