| INGREDIENTS: |
|
|
| 1 lb. dry green or yelow split peas (16 oz) |
|
1 28 oz can diced tomatoes |
| 2 Litres water |
|
|
| 1 lb. Ham Bone |
|
1 green pepper |
| 2 Carrots, diced |
|
1/2 cup celery, diced |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
|
salt and pepper to taste |

| INSTRUCTIONS |
|
|
| Combine first 6 ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer 45-60 minutes, covered, until peas are tender. Remoe ha bone. Cut off and dice meat. Stir in meat and vegetables. Simmer 15-20 min. until vegetables are done. Season to taste. |
