Bake at 400 F. for 20 - 25 min.

Note: Quick and tasty, serve with a plop of whipping cream to dress it up. I'm sure you can use other plums and apples, rhubarb and other fruits work with this as well, I just really like blue plums. Christine Unger

INGREDIENTS: |

Dough:
1 1/2 cup flour
3 Tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoons baking powder
1 egg and enough milk to make 3/4 cups |

Plums, pitted and halved or bigger plums sliced (works great with rhubarb too just leave out the cinnamon and double the streusel)
Streusel Topping:
2 T sugar
2 Tablespoons flour
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 Tablespoons cold butter |

Dough:
Mix dry ingredients together, cut in butter as with pie dough. Make a well in the center. beat the egg and milk lightly and pour into the well in the dry ingredients. Mix gently just to wet thoroughly.
Streusel Topping:
mix flour and sugar and spice, cut in butter.
Spread dough into greased 9 inch square baking pan.
Place plums on top of dough, cut side down one layer only.
Spread Steusels evenly and bake.
